I am Verena, a young German creative based in Barcelona with a background in architecture. I like to “scan” things around me, which means that I enjoy very much to explore other fields of interests which link to “Making”. The city of Barcelona as “Future Maker City” is a great inspiration and environment to learn, test and interchange ideas. One field of my interest is traditional handcraft manufacturing especially crochet. It is a mediative activity with a high potential to addiction that I can combine with gift making for my friends and friend’s kids. All objects are 100% handmade.

This blog will provide you tutorials where you can learn how to make your own things, information about materials, tools and techniques. If you are a friend’s friend I can even try to make a customized object for you.
